If folklorists had gone into the small towns, hill communities, and hollers throughout the southeast during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, we might understand how the music of the old and new worlds melted into one. We now can see how Appalachian Early Country & Bluegrass music and traditional Mountain Gospel music came together years ago to create this special blend of traditional gospel music that we all know and love.
